Gym girls in action

Five gymnasts from Beccles Royales Gymnastics Club entered the annual Kit-e-Kat competition held at Pipers Vale Gymnastics club in Ipswich on Sunday May 25.

Five gymnasts from Beccles Royales Gymnastics Club entered the annual Kit-e-Kat competition held at Pipers Vale Gymnastics club in Ipswich on Sunday May 25.

The gymnasts entered compete at different levels depending on their age and level, determined by the award they are currently working on based on the British Gymnastics awards.

Once again it was a very successful competition for the girls with all five winning medals.

Bronze for Kacey Leech in age 5/6 level 1; Bronze for Beatrice Bergamaschi in age 5/6 level 2; Silver for Lily Whitehand in age 8 and under level 3; Gold for Rebecca Chapman in age 5/6 level 1; Gold for Chloe Squires in age 8 and over level 3.

Well done for the preparation work done by coaching assistant Ann Brockwell and to Rebecca Tyrrell who took on the responsibility as coach on the competition floor for the 1st time since passing her Assistant coach award in March this year.
