Hales are the bee's knees
HALES New Bees are the new leaders in the Beccles and District Table Tennis League (sponsored by Alan Cook Accommodations). Playing in the league for the first time this season, there were no problems for Barney Garrod, Ryan Sampson and Luke Glaysher as they beat Hales Tornadoes 10-0.

Framingham Magpies moved up to second place with a 10-0 win over Barnby and North Cove New Boys.
Magpies were made to fight as two matches went to a fifth-leg decider, but Alan Harper, Alf Stubbs and Doug Cheer won all their matches.

Hales Ants retained their 100 percent record with a 7-3 win over Framingham Nutters. Phil Clarke won all his singles matches for Nutters, including a fifth-leg decider against Steve Griffee, but Ants won all their remaining matches.
