An excellent attendance of players, officials and guests were welcomed by club chairman Adrian Waters to the presentation evening of the Halesworth Town Football Club.

He congratulated the club officials, committee and players on a very happy and successful season.

The Stephen Ling, first team manager and his assistant Mark Jefferies award, went to Adam Pritchard who also received the players' player trophy.

Kevin Dawson, who having his first taste as manager of the reserves had done a great job and his award went to Matthew Earl with the players' player trophy going to Barry Woolnough. The most improved club player of the year chosen by club secretary, Arthur Ling was Joe Allen.

The chairman's trophy went to young Daniel Paget.

The Fred Fenn club person of the year trophy went to Elaine Fisher for all her hard work with club captain Matthew Jermy, who is editor of the club's match day programme. Elaine looks after the advertising side with Adam Pritchard. Thanks went to the advertisers and business people of Halesworth and surrounding area for their support, to all who help behind the scenes on match days and to Phil Tomkins of the Halesworth White Hart, official kit sponsor to the club.

Club treasurer and minute secretary, Caroline Mortlock was given gift vouchers as thanks for washing team kits every week and looking after the club's finances.

The club's life-vice president, Gerald Ellis, on holiday. sent thanks to Mitch Block, club president for the great amount of work he does for the club. Thanks also went to secretary, Arthur Ling. Adrian Waters the chairman has done a great job working many hours on the pitch.

First team manager Stephen Ling was presented with a framed photo of himself and Jeremy Goss at Carrow Road from the first team players.

At the annual meeting, officials elected were: president, Mitch Block; life vice-president, Gerald Ellis; chairman, Adrian Waters; secretary, Arthur Ling; treasurer and minute secretary, Caroline Mortlock. Committee: Jimmy O'Connor, playing field rep, Matthew Jermy, fundraiser and players' rep Alan Felgate, all club officials.

Training starts on Tuesday, July 15 at 7pm at the Dairy Hill Ground, Halesworth when all past and new players will be very welcome.
