ON a very hot day at Hethel on Sunday four Bungay Black Dogs took part in the Hethel 10-mile race. There were 117 finishers with Chris Chorley finishing in 1-12:16 in 26th place with Bobby Sauerzapf taking second place in the Female V50 in 1-23:03 (63rd overall).

There were 117 finishers with Chris Chorley finishing in 1-12:16 in 26th place with Bobby Sauerzapf taking second place in the Female V50 in 1-23:03 (63rd overall).
Neil Thomas was just behind Bobbie in 1-23:50 (82nd) with Robin Farrar clocking a time of 1-33:55 (101st).
On the previous Friday evening four Black Dogs, including new members Joe and Helen Hornsey, took part in the Stowmarket Friday five-mile race and 358 runners raced through woodland on a perfect summer evening with Chris Chorley finishing in 79th place in a time of 34:01 with Joe close behind in 90th clocking 34.38.
Helen finished in a great time of 39:07 in 184th with Bobbie Sauerzapf next in 40:34 in 213th place.
