Bungay Black Dog Running Club entered four teams in the Mutford Relay, held on Sunday.

Teams of five ran a hot and hilly 5km circuit around country lanes, handing over a baton at the village hall.

The first leg is always run by a female.

The fastest lap time for the Black Dogs was Ian Taylor, running second for the A team, in 19:16.

Robbie James ran a 19:43 lap for the A team as well, which finished 10th out of 30 teams.

The event is part of the Suffolk County Championships so competition is always very tough. Just to prove his fitness, Ian Taylor also ran a circuit for the D Team in 19:54.
