BECCLES U15 rugby player Jay Ash has taken the next big step towards a potential England spot by being selected to take part in the London Divisional Rugby Trials.
England number six Maggie Alfonsi will be there and her job will be to select the players who she thinks will make the grade for progression in the RFUW organisation.
Jay plays at full-back for Beccles, has played for Sir John Leaman High School and is also a regular in the Eastern Counties squad.
Coach Alan Carpenter said: “Jay is an outstanding player who has the world at her feet at the moment, she is a credit to the club and we wish her every success at the trials.”
