Juniors in spotlight at Beccles CC
Beccles Cricket Club held a junior awards evening to celebrate the achievements over the past cricketing season. There was a good turnout, including many parents.
Beccles Cricket Club held a junior awards evening to celebrate the achievements over the past cricketing season. There was a good turnout, including many parents. The club president Robert Seppings and overseas player Didak Vihm presented the prizes.
The U10 prizes went to Luke Ellis for the best batsman, Jack Gallagher for the best bowler and George Youngman as most improved.
The U11 prizes went to Sam Crisp as the best batsman, George Milton as the best bowler and Bradley Fisher as most improved.
The U13 prizes were won by Alex Wright, who won the best batsman, Kieran Bale for the best bowler and Adam Goodswin for the most improved.
The Heather and Gordon Hickman U17 Junior Cup was won by Richard Porter.
The final award for junior clubman of the year went to Josh Aldridge for all his hard work with the kids.
