BECCLES Dolphins U10 and Hales Herd U10 reached the final of the Beccles Kwik cricket tournament on Sunday at Beccles cricket ground in drizzly conditions.
It was a closely-fought contest in which Beccles eventually ran out winners by 31 runs.
George Read scored 19 runs for Beccles to be the top scorer and was well backed up by the rest of his batsmen.
Hales' bowlers shared their wickets around with everyone and was good to see they had fielded two girls in their team who were good performers on the day.
Overall it was a good game for the parents and spectators to watch which went right down to the wire.
