LODDON won the toss and decided to bat first but Rackheath took early control and bowled a very good line and length to take the wicket of K Jones (1) in the sixth over and the score at only four.

S Scott (8) struggled to get the ball away and edged one to first slip off P Banham in the 18th over.

Rackheath, still in control with the score at 24, made the first change and some loose deliveries saw J Riseborough take advantage of some short deliveries. A Baker also worked the ball through the gaps and had a good 65 partnership with Riseborough when finally M Rymarz bowled A Baker (17) in the 33rd.

D Debenham(9) tried to push the runs and missed an off cutter from M Rymarz to lose his off bail.

C Baker blasted a quick 13 when he got caught at long on going for a big six. At 120 after 42, Loddon needed to push hard for a competitive total.

Riseborough made a bad call running out C Clements (2), A Wells (5no) and J Riseborough pushed the final score to 143-6, J Riseborough an excellent 59 not out.

Rackheath had a quicker start than Loddon, taking advantage of some loose deliveries from C Baker and A Wells. Wells however managed to make the first breakthrough trapping O'Beirne lbw in the ninth over.

Rackheath continued to chase Loddon's total down with confidence, taking the total to 44 when Baker managed to get M Rymarz bowled in the 15th over.

S Rymarz was looking good with the bat but had to retire hurt when he took a Baker short delivery on his elbow.

This turned the game in Loddon's favour and Loddon took control, quickly removing J Scarborough, R Brown, C Rymarz and JoJo from the crease through great bowling from K Jones and A Baker and solid catches from A Wells and D Debenham.

Rackheath looked rattled and gifted two consecutive wickets (P Banham and S Williams) to K Jones in the 24th over.

After a first over from D Debenham he managed to find the off stump of R Townsend, and K Jones took P Banham's wicket via a nonchalant catch from Ed Mead in the covers.

Jones finished with impressive figures of 5.4-3-3-4, Rackheath 68 all out after 27.4 overs.
