Loddon United visited Blofield and came away with a 3-3 draw.

They could have snatched it at the death but a draw was gratefully accepted.

Loddon managers Creegan and Matthews started with a lone striker in the hope of frustrating their more experienced opponents. Blofield started much the brighter and played some neat, quick attacking football but Ricko Way, in particular, was in no mood to let them pass.

The plan seemed to be working until the 22nd minute when Marjoribanks fell awkwardly on his ankle and had to be replaced by Brown.

Within five minutes, Wright and Andersen won a free-kick on the left and Brown delivered an inch-perfect cross for Oliver to glance home.

It took Blofield just 10 minutes to get back on terms. Collins came to punch clear a corner, but the ball fell to Blofield on the edge of the box and was volleyed into the top corner.

Hancock volleyed a Brown cross just over for the last action in the 10th minute of injury time.

Blofield went in front within two minutes of the restart when Loddon failed to deal with a tame right wing cross and a header just beat Collins with defenders rooted.

In the next 15 minutes Collins made two great saves while at the other end Gricks had good claims for a penalty turned down.

Hancock had struggled after an earlier knock and was replaced by the lively Sadler who put in great work and some telling passes. One found Andersen down the left, his cross was only half cleared to Gricks who nosed it to Wright who fired home.

Wright then latched onto a Way clearance, beat his marker and forced the home keeper to handle outside the box. The referee had no choice but to show a red card.

Seemingly unaffected by the loss, Blofield got back in front with seven minutes to go when a low cross from the left found an extra man at the far post.

With continued self-belief, Loddon got a deserved equaliser after good play by Brown and a poor back pass by Blofield set up Wright for another brilliant finish.

Ricko Way must get another mention, he was awesome at the back for Loddon, but Musker McIntyre man of the match has to go to Hadlee Wright for his sparkling runs and second-half finishes.
