The Beccles Middle School U13 girls' football team have reached the fifth round of the National Cup for the first time.
The first three rounds were all played away from home at Norfolk schools and resulted in a 3-1 win against Notre Dame High, a 5-3 win against Aylsham High and a 4-3 win against Hellesdon High.
After beating the best that Norfolk could offer, Beccles faced Chalkstone Middle in round four.
On a blustery day Beccles quickly took the lead through Alycia, after some great work by the midfield pairing of Shannon and Charlene.
Beccles quickly doubled their lead with another great strike from Alycia.
The game then became a balanced match with both sides playing some good football.
