Neil's in the swim

Halesworth swimmer, Neil Howell, competed in the two-day Midland Masters open age-group championships last month in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

The veteran swimmer won four titles.

Halesworth swimmer, Neil Howell, competed in the two-day Midland Masters open age-group championships last month in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

The veteran swimmer won four titles. These were in the 200m, 100m, 50m breaststroke events, together with the 50m backstroke. He also gained a silver medal in the 50m freestyle.

The Halesworth competitor was one of three swimmers representing the Norwich-based East Anglian Swallow Tails Club. The majority of the competitors were from the Midlands and the north of England.
