With one remaining match, Beccles New Bees are now 12 points clear at the top of the South Norfolk Table Tennis League after two recent wins.
Firstly, New Bees beat Ashby Ducks 9-1 before they beat Langley Ants 8-2 with Jack Leather and James Skilleter winning all their matches.
Langley Ants have a match in hand and are currently second, having beaten Chedgrave Magpies by the maximum 10-0 scoreline. Ian Brown, David Boatman and Adrian Key had three wins each.
Gnats are lying third after another maximum 10-0 win, against Ducks.
Barnby have had two recent wins. Firstly they beat Langley Lads 7-3 with Peter McMorran winning all three matches. Trevor Cooke won two matches but lost in a five-leg thriller against James Johnston, who won two matches for Lads. Barnby beat Magpies 6-4 with Rob Pennell winning all three matches.
