THE warm and windy conditions did not stop two Black Dog Runners from gaining awards at the Wissey Half Marathon/Norfolk Championships on Sunday. Bobbie Sauerzapf won a silver medal for FV50 and Judy Potter won a bronze for FV60.
THE warm and windy conditions did not stop two Black Dog Runners from gaining awards at the Wissey Half Marathon/Norfolk Championships on Sunday.
Bobbie Sauerzapf won a silver medal for FV50 and Judy Potter won a bronze for FV60.
Of the 233 finishers, Chris Chorley was the first Black Dog home in 44th position (1-29), followed by Richard Dye in 63rd (1-34), Bobbie Sauerzapf 120th (1-46), Judy Potter, 155th (1-55), Bob Paul, 161st (1-57) and Robin Farrar, 193rd (2-04).
On the same day, Bungay Black Dog runner Ian Taylor competed in the Wolverhampton Marathon where he finished 36th out of 306 in a time of 3-16:1.
The two- lap course was surprisingly hilly and he felt he ran well in ideal conditions.
