Wroxham were unable to prevent Leiston going two points clear at the top of the Premier Division, going down 2-1 away after being on level terms at half-time. Needham Market slipped behind in the title race, held to a 0-0 draw at Wisbech.

In the 22 minute Leiston, against the run of play, scored through Michael Brothers. The Yachtsmen levelled seven minutes later when Stephen Spriggs raced clear to score from a tight angle.

In the 72nd minute Wroxham were given a free-kick just outside their 18-yard box which led to Lee McGlone latching onto the ball to score past Scott Howie. Both sides ended with 10 men.

Kirkley & Pakefield won 3-0 at home to Debenham LC, Mildenhall beat visitors King's Lynn Reserves 4-1 and Norwich United drew 1-1 at home to Haverhill.

An excellent team goal from Paul Atkins gave the Planters a deserved point after a team decimated by injury and illness trailed to Louis Harper's deflected shot three minutes before the break.

In the First Division, Great Yarmouth won 2-0 at March and are now only one point behind leaders FC Clacton, who drew 3-3 with Godmanchester.

Yarmouth were mainly on the defensive but took a slightly fortunate lead in first-half added time when Jake Reed robbed a hesitant defender and played Gavin Norman in to score. Reed made it 2-0 just on the hour mark after a pass from Stewart Roach.

Diss gained an important 1-0 win in the meeting of two promotion candidates in a scrappy match at Saffron Walden. The only goal of the game came in the 53rd minute when Jason Hunt won the ball in midfield and surged forward to find the corner of the net.

Gorleston extended their unbeaten league run with a 3-0 home win over Ipswich Wanderers but Swaffham found Whitton in overpowering form, the Pedlars on the end of a 7-0 home thrashing. Thetford drew 1-1 at Long Melford while Downham won 3-2 at home to Cornard.
