Beccles Royales Gymnastics Club was represented by 32 gymnasts at Ipswich Pipers Vale Gym Club, taking part in the KitEKat competition and the Suffolk General Gymnastics County competition.

In the KitEKat Red Badge competition Rebecca Luckett scored 49 overall in the 5/6 year age group resulting in a gold medal. Gabriella Naseby achieved an overall score of 48.5 in the 10 years and under age group winning silver in her group.

In the KitEKat Blue Badge competition in the 6/7 age group Evie Naseby won gold with a score of 46, Olivia Barber won silver with 45 and Neve Potter 39 for bronze.

In the General Gymnastics competition Level 1 age 8-9, Daisy Higgins was fourth on vault and beam but won gold for her bars and floor. Alica Pointer, Maisie Broom and Grace Smith-Norton competed in the 10-12 year age group. Alice won gold for her vault and silver on bars, beam and floor. Maisie won gold on the beam and bronze for her vault, bars and floor. Grace won gold on both bars and floor followed by silver on vault and bronze on beam.

The level 2 gymnasts in the 8-9 year age group were Anna Knight, Scarlet Cahill, Charlotte Luckett and Jessica Leech. Anna won silver for her bars, Scarlett won silvers for beam and floor. Charlotte won bronze for vault and was the gold medallist on floor with Jessica winning bronze for vault and gold for beam.

Also in level 2 in the 10-12 age group, Emily Barber and Brooke Howlett represented the club. Emily won gold for bars, silver for vault and bronze for floor with Brooke winning silvers for bars and beam and bronze for vault.

The Level 3 competition saw the biggest number of contestants, making it even more difficult to medal. However, Victoria Squires in the 11-12 year age group won bronze for her floor routine. Brooke Lay, Kaitlyn Harris, Tiani Howard and Grace Ellis also competed in the age group, narrowly missing out on the medals. Iona Goodall was in the 13-15 year age group and won two golds for her beam and floor followed by a silver for her bars.

In the Level 4 10-11 age group Molly Harrison, Ella Barber, Ella Caswell-Jones and Keisha Green competed. Keisha just missed out on a medal by 0.25 points. Ella won silver for floor, Ella won gold for bars and silver for beam leaving Molly winning gold for floor and bronzes in bars and beam.

Also in level 4 age group 12-14 Amie Seaman, Mia Green and Evie Goffin competed and in the 15-18 age group Kacey Leech competed. Amie won gold for her bars and silver for beam. Mia won silver on floor, Evie won gold on both beam and floor followed by silver for bars and Kacey won silvers for her vault, bars and beam but finished with a gold for her floor.

The final group was Level 5. Angelica Clarke was in the 11-12 year age group and Rosie Madin and Zoe Stennett were in the 13-15 year age group. Angelica won gold on each piece, Rosie won silvers for her vault and floor with golds on both bars and beam. Zoe received a bronze for her vault, silvers on both bars and beam and gold for her floor.

Each of the gymnasts who medalled in this competition now have the opportunity to compete in the regional finals in June. Thanks are given to all the girls who took part, for making the whole club, parents and coaches very proud and congratulations on the achievements.
