Shaun's first success of season

Bungay cyclist Shaun Aldous, racing for Colchester-based Lotto Olympia Team Interbike, knotched up his first win of the cyclo-cross season on Saturday in the third round of the Eastern League at Baldock in Hertfordshire.

Bungay cyclist Shaun Aldous, racing for Colchester-based Lotto Olympia Team Interbike, knotched up his first win of the cyclo-cross season on Saturday in the third round of the Eastern League at Baldock in Hertfordshire.

Shaun rode away from his rivals on the second of the nine lap race quickly opening a 10 second lead, riding a steep grassy bank which few of the other 70 riders in the race could manage he increased his lead to nearly a minute at the finish.
