HALES were demolished by 86 runs by Ashmanhaugh in the Coronation Cup as overseas star T Satti ran riot with the ball at Hales Green.

Ashmanaugh batted first and made a reasonable start on their way to 105-9 off their 15 eight ball overs. Graham Squire was in fluent form and bowled with raw pace and good control.

Squire put the brakes on the Ashmanhaugh innings as he clean bowled six batsmen in an incredible three over spell conceding just eight runs.

T Satti then unbelievably went one better and destroyed the Hales top order, he too claimed six clean bowled victims of his three over spell and conceded just four runs. The Hales top six batsman contributed just one run and at one point Hales found themselves 10-8 on their way to a pathetic total of just 19.
