The Bungay-based club, members of the British Judo Association, have made significant strides since forming in 2008. At the helm of the prospering outfit are Mark Pullant - who works as head coach and chairman - and secretary David Oates, older brother of current Great Britain star Colin.

The pair's efforts have paved the way for the club to host two of Europe's most admired judo stars.

Fallon, 26, is one of British judo's most revered names, having simultaneously held World and European titles, a feat only previously achieved by British judo legend Neil Adams.

The Brit has taken a sabbatical from the sport since he competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

The Midlander's masterclass session will take place tomorrow (Saturday).

His talented peer, Hungarian ace Bernadett Baczko, will host a session on Sunday, July 18.

The 24-year-old from Budapest is best known for being a three-time European champion and world bronze medallist.

The 60kg fighter's career has been blighted by a luckless run of injuries which nearly robbed her of a spot at the 2008 Olympics.

Mark Purllant is delighted to have secured two high-profile names to bring their world-renowned skills to Suffolk. “I was discussing a potential visit from Craig when Andrew Moshanov also suggested Bernadett and I jumped at the chance!”

“Bernadett is visiting us to demonstrate and teach her most successful judo techniques - especially her formidable groundwork.

The 1st Dan added: “We'd like to generate a lot of interest in the club's activities and believe these sessions will be inspirational for our players.”

Players of all abilities are welcome to take part in the sessions which will be held at Bungay Middle School.

On both days juniors will train in the morning while senior players will train in the afternoon.

Juniors (eight-14 years) will be on the mat from 10am-12pm with an autograph session to follow. Seniors and advanced juniors (over 14 years) will be in action from 1-3pm.

The masterclass will cost £5 for juniors and £7 for seniors, which is payable on the day.

A discounted rate of £8 is available for juniors wishing to attend both players' sessions while seniors can attend both for £12.

Places will be much sought-after so players interested are encouraged to book early by contacting Mark Purllant on mark@blackdogjudo.co.uk or 07544 739281.

Black Dog Judo Club train on a Tuesday at St Andrew Village Hall with juniors on the mat from 6-8pm. Thursday sessions are now held at Bungay Middle School.
