Successful shuttles at Beccles
It’s the end of another enjoyable and successful season for Beccles Badminton Club with the annual meeting being held at Bungay Pavillion recently, which was very well attended.
The club would like to thank Louise Ball who for the past six years has been the chairperson of Beccles Badminton Club but this year has decided to stand down.
Her replacement was duly elected – Nick Saunders.
Louise will continue to have a very active role within the club as she was elected back onto the committee as match secretary.
This season has been very successful and enjoyable for the all teams playing in the Norwich League with the Mixed A team finishing second in Division Three and the Ladies’ team also finishing second in Division Two whilst the Men’s team finished fifth in Division Three and finally the Mixed B team finishing third in Division Five.
