HALESWORTH swimmer Neil Howell returned to competition after a break of three months when he competed in the Barnet Copthalll sprint meet in north west London.
He won both the breaststroke races over 50m and 100m and came second in the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke. Howell was the only competitor from the Norwich based East Anglian Swallowtails.
A total of 57 clubs were represented at the meeting from as far afield as Carlisle and Swansea.
The veteran swimmer has now won 35 consecutive breaststroke races over 200m, 100m and 50m in his age group. He was last beaten in October 2008.
