Liam Harris, aged just 13 from Thurlton Bowls Club, has won the Bowls England men’s two bowl Suffolk county championship, making him the youngest ever male competitor to win a county title.
Following in the footsteps of Thurlton’s Georgie Marwood, who recently became the youngest female county title holder, Liam played some superb bowls in the semi-finals and finals at Hopton Bowls Club, who were hosts for the championships.
Liam will now play in the national finals at Leamington.
