CYCLING: Godric CC evening 10 mile time trial on the Earsham bypass saw 17 starters on a warm evening with lots of season's best times for Godric riders.

CYCLING: Godric CC evening 10 mile time trial on the Earsham bypass saw 17 starters on a warm evening with lots of season's best times for Godric riders.

Best was Lian Gentry VC Baracchi in 22min 37sec, his best ever time for his 10 mile time trial, second John Dupen VC Baracchi 22:48, third was Jim Burgess from Worlingham on a comeback trail after two-year break from the sport riding for Anglia Velo 22:56.

Godric times Gavin Sumner 26:22, Tim Coughlan 26:52, Paul Barwood 27:06, Adrian Perkin (Trick) 27:44, Jim Caplin 27:45, Mick and Harriet Hudspith (Tandem) 24:37.

Sunday morning Mick Hudspith and Adrian Perkin Godric CC went out to Attleborough to ride the East Anglian CC 25 mile TT on the A11 between Larling and Besthorpe on a good morning.Mick did 1-01:48sec and Adrian 1-09:44 with a 30 second late start. John Dupen VC Baracchi 59:00.

The winner was Michael Hutchinson riding for In Gear 48:59.
