Trophy time for Beccles Town FC

Beccles Town Football Club held their end-of-season event at the Waveney Hotel, who put on an excellent buffet.

New chairman Shaun Soloman introduced proceedings and the following awards were made: first team player of the year - Martin Myhill, reserves team player of the year - Ashley Lever, young player of the year - Danny Compton, supporters' player of the year - Sam Barham and the club's website player of the year - Alan Remblance.

Club captain Sam Barham presented retiring committee member Maurice Youngs with a certificate endowing him with an honorary vice-presidency for all his services to the club.
