Bungay Town Ladies continued their excellent unbeaten run in 2017 with two 6-0 wins in the space of a week.

Firstly they dispatched Fakenham Ladies in a game that was dominated by the wind, making good play hard to achieve, but goals from Hannah Jones, Lauren Purling (2), Lacey Andrews (2) and new signing Teo Ille were reward for their hard work.

Then, on Wednesday evening, a home game against Kirkley & Pakefield Ladies was played at Lowestoft Town’s ground and again Bungay ran in six unanswered goals. Andrews (3), Hannah Waters (2) and Jones were the scorers.

Bungay are now second in Division One of the NWGFL with only one defeat since the middle of October, scoring 60 goals and conceding nine. They have also qualified for the League Cup final at the end of April.
