St Benets Wasps U16 beat Kirkley & Pakefield in the final of the U16 Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League Cup on Sunday at Gorleston FC.

It took 30 minutes for the first goal, but it was worth the wait. Alex H hit the ball early from 30 yards into the top corner. Lewis B was next with another unstoppable shot from 25 yards to send St Benets in at half-time 2-0 ahead. Ten minutes from time, Danny M finished off a six-man move with his unfavoured left foot for 3-0.
Captain Alex H picked up the MoM award.
Manger Dave Harmer was happy to hear that all of these talented players are committed to staying together for another two years and will be joining the newly-formed U18 Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League.
