Weybread Rejects have retained their title of Beccles and District Table Tennis League champions with a match to spare.

Their nearest rivals Hales Hopefuls rounded off their league fixtures by beating Hales Gnats 9-1 but it was not enough and they finished as runners-up.

However, Hopefuls gained some consolation by beating Framingham Nutters in the Knockout Plate final. Gnats are the Knockout Cup winners after defeating Hales Ants in the final.

There were also two defeats in the league for Nutters against Ants and Framingham Gull.

The league is holding its annual tournament matches at Hales Village Hall over the next two weeks.
