With a strong south-west wind it was very hard night. Best time on the night was John Dupen (VC Baracchi) 24:14.
Second was Mick Hudspith (Godric) 24:51 and first in the Godric handicap event and third was Peter Johnson (Norwich ABC) 26:09.
Other results: 4= Gavin Sumner (Godric) and Simon Scott (VC Baracchi) 26:34, Gavin was second in the handicap event, 6 John Swanbury (VC Baracchi) 26:37, 7 Mark Elmy (Godric) 27:12 and 4th handicap, 8= John Coles (Wolsey RC) and Paul Barwood (Godric) 27:22, with Paul was third in the handicap, 10 Ray Ross (Comrades CC) 27:57, 11 schoolboy Peter Johnson (Come and Try) 30:23, 12 Ryan Snowden school boy (Come and Try) 30:52, 13 Ray Legg (West Suffolk Wheelers) 31:05.
