A beautiful country estate is opening its gardens to the public in a bid to raise money for those living with motor neurone disease.
On Sunday, June 17, Ditchingham Hall will be showcasing its impeccable gardens and supporting the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MDNA).
A spokesman for the hall said: “The beautifully presented gardens represent the life’s work of gardener Ian Hart who has worked under the creative direction of the current and previous Earl Ferrer to manage these magnificent gardens over the past 31 years.
“Teeming with wildlife, many large collections of plants can be seen in the 13 acres of garden including 120 varieties of Bearded Iris in the two acre walled garden and over 300 specimen trees in the Arboretum.”
There will be a plant sale at the Open Gardens as well as tea, coffee, a wide range of cakes, Ronaldo’s Ice Cream van and a tombola.
Entrance to the event is £5 per adult with under-16s going free.
