Halesworth Arts Festival’s season of Sunday afternoon recitals begins on Sunday, February 7, with a performance from The Fitzroy Quartet. Made up of four award-winning musicians from across Europe, the quartet recently won the Wolfe Wolfinsohn Quartet Competition and were awarded the 2015 Sir John Barbirolli Memorial Prize. They will be performing Haydn’s Spring Quartet Op.77 no 1, Beethoven’s Quartet in F major no 16, Op.135 and Mendelssohn’s String Quartet no 6 Op.80.
