FAMILIES are expected to flock to an eye-catching art exhibition this weekend where farm animal paintings will be on show at an outdoor venue in Bungay.
It is a free event open to adults and children of all ages and organised by Black Dog Arts, who are hoping this year's Fieldful of Farm Animals show will be even bigger and better than last year's.
This Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 3pm the group will display the paintings on Falcon Meadow at Bungay Staithe.
Once in the meadow visitors will be treated to the sight of ten huge paintings on show on straw bails.
They include images of heavy horses at Gressenhall, as well as pictures of cows, chickens, goats and sheep, with pigs proving to be a popular subject for artists this year.
Hundreds of people have already seen the paintings in the chapel at Gressenhall Farm and workhouse, near Dereham.
Among them are Diana McKenna's 'Sow and Piglet at Earsham Park Farm' and Bill Titcombe's 'Earsham Pigs', both of which are inspired by pigs at Park Farm in Earsham. There are also paintings depicting the locally famous 'roundabout chickens' at Ditchingham.
