Choirs from neighbouring towns will join forces for a rare public appearance together.
Beccles Community Choir and Bungay Community Choir are performing a ‘Summer Concert’ at the Fisher Theatre, Bungay next Sunday, July 23.
The performance - a matinee of music and song, starts at 4pm, and features well-known songs from musicals, big band hits and 50s and 60s classics.
Whilst the choirs, with joint membership of 100 people, often perform at local events this is only the third time they have performed together.
Stephen Amer, musical director, said: “Each choir has been preparing for this show for a while and working on some of our sing-a-long and well-known songs that will give the audience a chance to join in.
“We are looking forward to performing the show.”
Tickets are £7, with concessions at £6 and available now from the Fisher Theatre box on office on 01986 897130 or online at
