A CONCERT to raise funds for the victims of the Haiti earthquake is to be held by a Beccles-based choir in the spring.
Friends in Harmony will be airing songs from their “easy listening” repertoire at the concert at St Michael's Church in Beccles, contrasted with the rousing tones of The Norfolk Fellowship Brass Band of The Salvation Army.
The band has joined with the choir on previous occasions to raise money for various charities.
The concert will feature soloists from both choir and band and will include the band, choir and audience combining in a grand finale.
Tony Mallion, of BBC Radio Norfolk, will be compere for the evening.
The concert takes place on Friday, April 30 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are now on sale at Willows in Beccles and Hillside News in Worlingham at �5. Refreshments will be available during the interval.
