Youngsters are busy putting the finishing touches to their theatre group’s latest musical extravaganza.
Tickets are now on sale for Rising Stars’ production of ‘Thoroughly Modern Musicals’, to be staged at Beccles Public Hall on July 13 and 14 from 7.30pm.
Written specially for Rising Stars, this new cabaret-style show will showcase a multitude of songs, dances and colourful characters from musicals written or revived in the 21st century, including Hamilton, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen and The Greatest Showman.
The cast of eight to 18-year-olds, who pride themselves on quality and professionalism, have been shortlisted or victorious several times in the ‘best youth production’ category at the regional NODA (National Operatic & Dramatic Association) awards.
Tickets for the production are priced at £7.50 for adults and £5 for under 18s. They can either be purchased online, by calling the box office on 01502 770060, or by visiting Beccles Public Hall.
