The Bolshoi Ballet’s production of Don Quixote and Matthew Bourne’s version of Sleeping Beauty are both being live streamed to the Fisher Theatre at Bungay over the next few days.

Don Quixote can be seen on Sunday at 4pm, presented with the Bolshoi’s panache and excellence, combined with Fadeyechev’s critically-acclaimed staging, as the eccentric hero sets off on a journey full of adventure in search of his perfect woman.

Sleeping Beauty is on Thursday April 14 at 7.30pm – and is a gothic romance for all ages. The traditional tale of good versus evil becomes a supernatural love story that even the passage of time cannot hinder. Tickets for both productions are £12.

And next Friday another Matthew Bourne Live production brings The Car Man to the theatre. The award-winning dance thriller will start at 7.30pm, with tickets at £12.

Tonight’s live stage production is the The Importance of Being Ernest presented by the Pantaloons. Oscar Wilde’s classic and very funny comedy is about the strange appeal for a man called Ernest. It is at 7.30pm and tickets are £10 or £9 for concessions.

The Fisher Theatre film on Monday evening, April 11 at 7.30pm is The Intern, staring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. It is the story of a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement is not all that it is cracked up to be, so he becomes an intern at an online fashion site. Tickets cost £5.

Wednesday April 13, is Open Mic Night, a new monthly feature in the cellar, running from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. It will mainly be acoustic and folk music but all styles and genres are welcome. Spaces should be booked in advance and supporters are welcome along to watch. Admission is £3.
