Could you create a picture or sculpture using twigs, leaves, pine cones and other natural materials found in a wood?
Now’s your chance to have a go! On Sunday, Waveney and Blyth Arts will be holding a ‘nature picture’ event in Church Wood, Homersfield, and are inviting individuals and families to join the fun.
In the morning, local artists will be trying out their nature picture-making skills in the wood to provide some inspiration.
And in the afternoon, starting at 2pm from the car park opposite the Black Swan, the group will be walking up to Church Wood to have a look at the work, and then spreading out in the wood to make more nature pictures. The event will finish with a walk to look at the results, and a stop at Farmer’s Kitchen for refreshments.
Places cost £5 for adults, £4 for Waveney and Blyth Arts members and under 12s go free. To book, email bookings@waveneyandblytharts.com or call 07415168806.
