A popular community movie night is set to make a thrilling return with an Oscar-nominated flick.
Darkest Hour will be showing at Beccles Public Hall on Thursday, September 13, from 2pm to 4pm.
A public hall spokesman said: “The film is a thrilling and inspiring true story at the precipice of World War II as, within days of becoming prime minister of Great Britain, Winston Churchill must face one of his most turbulent and defining trials; exploring a negotiated treaty with Nazi Germany or standing firm for the ideals, liberty and freedom of a nation.
“For all those who missed this incredible portrayal of Winston Churchill at the cinema by multi-award winning actor Gary Oldman, or for those who would simply like to watch it again we invite you to Film at the Hall.”
Tickets for the event are available from the hall box office at www.becclespublichall.org.uk or call 01502 770 060
