Beccles based choir Friends in Harmony will be performing An Evening of Music and Song at Beccles Public Hall on Friday, June 19, with special guests Norfolk Fellowship Brass.
Conducted by Bram Bryant, who has some eighteen years experience at the helm, the Beccles choir promises a concert which will delight your eyes and ears, while raising funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice.
Bram said: “Almost everyday we are asked to help various charities with their work. However, this time the choir has decided to raise money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice. At present, money is being raised for their new hospice, which is soon to be built, but at the same time funds are required to keep the present hospice running. Nobody likes to see dear little children suffer, and places such as these hospices do their utmost to make the children’s lives as comfortable and happy as possible.”
The Norfolk Fellowship Brass Band under their conductor of David Woodrow will also be performing, and the compère for the evening will be Tony Mallion, former BBC Radio Norfolk presenter.
Doors will open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets cost £6 and are available from the box office, open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm, by calling 01502 770060 or online at www.becclespublichall
