A CHARITY fundraising event in memory of Beccles man Bob Sale is taking place next Friday, September 18, at the Waveney House Hotel in the town.
Showbitz will bring you a non stop evening of entertainment packed with your favourite numbers from the stage and screen with all monies going to the Norfolk Heart Trust. Songs from Mamma Mia, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Evita will all feature.
Bob's untimely death in January 2007 has prompted his family to raise cash for the trust, which funds local cardiac research projects, provides monitoring equipment and trains health care professionals involved in the treatment of heart disease.
Tickets are �12.50 from the hotel on 01502 712270 and include a glass of sparkling wine and nibbles.
