There will be plenty of entertainment at the Fisher Theatre in Bungay over the Easter weekend.

Tonight in a change to the printed programme there is an evening of jazz and blues which will be played by You and the The Night and Friends.

Kathleen Williamson, will be on vocals and Leo Altarelli on trumpet/vocals will be joined by special guests Phil Brook on guitar and Gill Alexander on bass.

This gig will be in the theatre’s atmospheric, intimate cellar space so there is limited admission. Tickets are £8.50 and £6 for students.

Tales, histories and mysteries about the old Norfolk Brickyard that served Holkham Hall in North Norfolk, will be brought to the stage in a drama produced by UpShoot Theatre Company tomorrow.

The play, entitled Bricks and Mortals, will be punctuated with folk music played live by Roger Eno, as part of the cast.

Tickets are £10 and £8 for concessions.

A gem on Easter Sunday afternoon, when ROH Encore presents the ballet, Jewels.

George Balanchine’s evocation of the sparkle of emeralds, rubies and diamonds is a brilliant ballet classic.

The French Romantic music of Fauré provides the impetus for the subtlety and lyricism of ‘Emeralds’, while the fire of ‘Rubies’ comes from Stravinsky and the jazz-age energy of New York.

Grandeur and elegance complete the ballet with the splendour of Imperial Russia and the peerless music of Tchaikovsky in ‘Diamonds’. All tickets for the show will be £12.

Fisher Theatre Cinema presents A Bigger Splash on Easter Monday.

Starring actors Tilda Swinton, Matthias Schoenaerts and Ralph Fiennes, the film is directed by Luca Guadagnino.

The movie is about the vacation of a famous rock star and a filmmaker in Italy is disrupted by the unexpected visit of an old friend and his daughter. All tickets are £5 for the film.

Tickets for all the shows at the Fisher Theatre are either available on the door or pre-booked at the Fisher Theatre box office which is open from 10am to 3pm, in Bungay. You can also book tickets over the telephone at 01986 897130 or alternatively online at www.fishertheatre.org.
