Norfolk based Addison’s Uncle, a ‘stampy’ modern English folk band, will be performing at The White Horse in Chedgrave tonight.
The band, made up of musicians playing the ukulele, violin and guitars, recently hit the news with their debut single B1159, written about the Norfolk coastal road.
Former Hobart High School pupil James Maas, who plays the ukulele in the band, said: “It’s a brilliant experience travelling around the region performing but I can’t wait to play a brilliant local gig as I live in Loddon and I can stroll home from a gig for a change.”
The band have been busy this year performing throughout East Anglia at numerous festivals and events including the CaLM festival held at The White Horse, with a particular highlight being Festival Too in King’s Lynn performing to more than 1,2000 people.
Next weekend they will also be playing at The Waterfront in Norwich for The Tilting Sky Festival. The band will be performing from 9pm.
