The Old Time Radio Club are presenting Bram Stokers Gothic horror classic “Dracula” as a radio play on Friday, October 31, at Burgh St Peter Village Hall to mark Halloween.

The group performs classic radio drama under strict “broadcast” conditions using actors voicing multiple parts, with live sound-effects, live music, jingle singers and real adverts from the period and promise to “wonderfully recreate the imaginings of the original novel”.

The play will closely follow the story of the novel by the Irish novelist, written in 1897 which infamously introduced the character of the vampire Count Dracula. The book tells the story of Dracula’s attempt to move from Transylvania to England.

The group will be performing at the venue for the first time with a showing at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 each (in advance) and can be purchased by calling the box office on 01502 589726 or at www.oldtimeradioclub.co.uk/events/event or can be purchased on the door for £6.For further information, please visit www.oldtimeradioclub.co.uk or www.Facebook.com/OldTimeRadioClub
