POETRY, theatre and song are all on offer in a packed programme at The Cut in Halesworth this weekend.
It all kicks off with 60s icon and singer-songwriter Julie Felix tonight. Julie is a legend of folk-rock music, combining her own material with classics by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and others.
She also performs traditional Mexican folk songs and native American Indian chants.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are �10/�8.

Tomorrow Eastern Angles Theatre Company brings its new performance The Long Way Home to The Cut. The play by Charles Way is a heart-warming story for the whole family, telling the tale of an old woman who decides to walk home to the seaside village of her birth.
On the way she meets a wild dog-boy and the two become unlikely travelling companions. It is a traditional folk tale from the heart of old Europe, brought into the modern age through puppetry, storytelling and music.

On Sunday is Yes, a celebration of the life and work of the poet Adrian Mitchell.
The show is a specially created programme of his poems and songs, including a reworking of the tortoise and the hare fable which was commissioned by The Poetry Trust and premiered to a sell-out audience at the 2009 Aldeburgh Poetry Festival.
It starts at 8pm and tickets are �10.
