THE Old Granary Studio at Maypole Green, Toft Monks, will be hosting a piano recital from Noriko Ogawa tomorrow at 7.30pm.
Noriko has achieved considerable renown throughout the world since her success at the 1987 Leeds International Piano Competition.
She appears with all the major UK, European, Japanese and US orchestras in concerto repertoire, which ranges from the well-known romantic works to 20th century composers such as Takemitsu, Debussy and Ravel.
The programme includes Grieg, Holberg Suite; Beethoven, Tempest Sonata Op.31-2; and Liszt's most famous landmark work, his Sonata in B minor.
