Three-piece Palomar explores the genre of 1930s swing known as ‘Chamber Jazz’ and this music style loosely based on the Benny Goodman Trio will be performed at Beccles Public Hall next weekend.
As well as performing such classics as ‘After You’ve Gone’ and ‘Avalon’ the Palomar trio will play compositions of other great jazz artists from Jelly Roll Morton to Goodman’s arch-rival Artie Shaw, peppered with anecdotes and stories from the swing era.
Join Ray Simmons on piano, Craig Hipperson on drums and Ron Hockett on clarinet and saxophone as they perform their chamber jazz numbers.
Performance starts at 3pm on Sunday, July 24 (doors open at 2.30pm) and the bar will be open.
There will also be hot beverages and cakes for sale in the interval. Tickets are £9 and £8 for concessions.

The hall will be closed in August for renovation work to the stage but the Box Office will be open for business as usual.
