There’s a busy weekend of contrasting entertainment coming up soon at the Beccles Public Hall starting on Saturday, October 25, with the mammoth clothes sale from 10am to noon and it’s free entry. The sale of good second-hand clothes is supported by Simone of Cloves Dress Agency, Beccles and Hall members thank her very much for this invaluable help with fundraising for the Public Hall. In the evening, 8pm to 11pm, it’s a welcome return to the talented Mark Anthony and fellow accomplished musicians the Funky Stuff Band. Entry is £8.50.
The next day, Sunday, October 26, at 2pm, the delightful film Ladies in Lavender starring Judi Dench and Maggie Smith is being shown.
The Halloween Ball is planned for Halloween Night on Friday, October 31, from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets are £10 for this spooky evening of fun and frivolity.
All tickets are available on line at www.becclespublichall.com or from the Box Office which is open from Monday to Saturday, 10am - 3pm.
