Bungay’s youth choir Cantaria will be performing a concert of well-known songs from the stage and the screen at St Mary’s Church in the town next month.

The group has been running for the past 18 months and was launched with the support of former town reeve Terry Reeve, and is fully funded by the community.

The performance will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 7.30pm and the programme has been put together by the eight singers in the group.

Tickets, which cost £7 for adults or £5 for under 18s, are available from 5, Earsham Street, in Bungay.
