Spencer, Gerry and Pete will be returning to Beccles Public Hall on Sunday, April 10, with a brand new, non-stop musical extravaganza and this time they will be taking on the ever popular genre of 1950s rock 'n' roll.

The brief is the same as previous shows - 100 hits in 100 minutes. And as usual expect the expected, the unexpected and the outright zany as the trio throw themselves body and soul into hits made famous by such legends as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Eddie Cochran, Wanda Jackson, Gene Vincent, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Duane Eddy, Connie Francis, The Coasters, Ray Charles and many more.

Their show will be packed not only with fabulous tunes, but the boys’ trademark humour, energy and enthusiasm. And like their sixties and seventies shows, this will be a musical rollercoaster ride of the highest order with a very special guest.

Sue Bergin, events coordinator at Beccles Public Hall, said: “Peter Gill wowed us with a very special tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis when he performed The Jerry Lee Lewis Story to a packed audience last June. Great Balls of Fire, he’s back again!”

And if that is not enough, there is always their famous competition - a night out with the boys for anyone able to name every song they perform.

The show will start at 2.30pm and tickets cost £14 or £12 for concessions. Tickets are available online at www.becclespublichall.com, the box office open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm or by calling 01502 770060.

You can also visit the box office to collect a copy of the new What’s On
programme for events at the Public Hall in April, May and June.

Tickets are still available for Ian Sainsbury at the popular popup pianobar when he will be returning for another relaxed cabaret style evening of chilled music and singing on Friday, April 8 at 7.30pm.
