Move On Up at relaunch of Beccles soul night

The popular Northern Soul and Motown Nights at Beccles Public Hall are being relaunched with a different format tomorrow.

If you love soul and you want to “Keep the Faith”, Move On Up at the hall at 8pm is the place for you.

General manager Neil Dunnell said: “We are really looking forward to seeing you all again plus looking forward to welcoming new people.”

Hosting the night will be DJ Garry Emms, DJ and presenter of the Detroit To Memphis Soul Show, every Monday evening, on Pure Rhythm Radio and DJ Alan Monsey, another well respected East Anglian Northern Soul and Motown DJ. The next Move On Up night after that is on November 12. Tickets are £6.

And don’t forget the talented duo Jacqui Dankworth and Charlie Wood, on Sunday as they perform a host of fabulous numbers made famous by some of the greatest musical partnerships. There are still tickets left for Just You, Just Me at 3pm.
