Norfolk’s Keith Skipper to visit Beccles Public Hall

A Norfolk-born author and broadcaster will bring over 50 years of writing experience to Beccles.

Beccles Public Hall will host ‘Another Bit of Squit with Keith Skipper, Man of Norfolk’ at 2.30pm on Sunday, September 10.

Mr Skipper, who previously performed in 2013, said: “I am delighted to accept a second invitation to nip over the border to dispense a few dollops of squit in support of Beccles Public Hall.”

The former Norwich City Football correspondent has become one of Norfolk’s most ardent champions and was made an MBE in the 2007 New Year’s Honours for his services to the community.

Since joining the original staff of BBC Radio Norfolk in 1980 he has been carving out a reputation as an outspoken defender of the Norfolk way of life.
